My path to brand consulting was not traditional, nor was it linear. I started in animal science and health sciences, spent a lot of time studying behavior and systems, and somewhere along the way realized that everything I was learning applied just as much to businesses as it did to biology.

I’m Abriana, founder of Black Unicorn Creative, a brand and culture consultancy. I work with business owners who are doing meaningful work but feel like something isn’t quite clicking. Growth is happening, but it’s harder than it should be. My job is to find the gap between who you say you are and how your business actually operates and close it.

I also built and manage my own brands, so I’m not just teaching this from the outside. I’m living it too.

I grew up around horses. They don’t respond to what you say. They respond to what’s actually true. Turns out, so does your market.
